The ones that seem the clearest to guess are those of two loanees – Martin Odegaard and Luka Jovic. It was seen in the friendly against Rangers that both recovered the bibs they had released when they went on loan last January. The Norwegian returned to wear ’21’ and the Serbian ’18’. It is expected that they will keep them if they are still in the team for the start of the season.
It was only for one game and he didn’t even wear it in the match, but Mbappé was ready to take the field with it. It was on January 19, 2020 in a cup match and the reason he didn’t wear his ‘7’ is that in this competition they are distributed from ‘1’ to ’11’ among the starting players and from 12 to 20 among the substitutes. Kylian started the match on the bench… and stayed there.

Casemiro acknowledged that Porto «helped him quite a lot» during the season he spent in the Portuguese league, but recalled that he worked «a lot, with illusion, humility» and with the thought of returning to Real Madrid.
«The mentality of the players is being very good. I think this is the way to win titles at the end of the season. Benítez is a coach who demands a lot from the players and I like that. He knows how to dialogue with the players and is intelligent. We have the mentality to win titles», he explained.
Finally, he referred to Real Madrid’s upcoming match against Manchester City on Friday in the Australian city of Melbourne: «It is a very difficult match because City is a good team, but it is a preseason match and we are still starting with a different coach. We will have to keep working little by little», he concluded.
